I had the pleasure of photographing this awesome family a few weeks ago, on an unfortunately dreary day. We had dreams of beautiful morning photos on the lawns of Deer Lake Park, but between the rain the night before, fences and oddly placed port-a-potties for the Jack Johnson concert the next day - the odds were against us.
Luckily the rain held off, and because Deer Lake is large and amazing, we found a few nooks and crannies we could wander around and take some photos. Despite everything going against us, this family had a ton of positive energy and were super fun to work with, their 18 month old Daughter was beyond gorgeous and braved the cooler weather in the cutest dress made by her Grandma!
I can’t wait for more sessions at Deer Lake, it has so much to offer! Hopefully with less port-a-potties next time....
